Quick Start (New Users)
What is Inpinity (today)?
Inpinity is a live on-chain game module on Base: the Pi-Phi Pyramid. You mint a Block NFT at fixed coordinates (Row/Col), reveal its Pi & Phi digits (rarity), farm resources (ERC-1155), defend with mercenaries, and attack other blocks with pirates.
Next steps are Inpinity City (a long-term upgrade/crafting layer) and a full UE5 game client.
What do I do first?
Which network do I need in MetaMask?
You must use Base Mainnet (Chain ID 8453). If you connect on Mint/Game and you’re on the wrong network, the page should ask you to switch.

Mint & Reveal
What is a Pyramid Block?
A Block is an on-chain NFT with fixed coordinates (Row/Col) inside the Pi-Phi Pyramid. The coordinates are part of your identity/strategy (especially later for City/UE5).
Why do I need to “reveal” a block?
Blocks have hidden Pi & Phi digits. Revealing unlocks the digits and the block’s rarity. Rarity affects production and gameplay value.
Reveal fails — what are typical reasons?
- Wrong network (not on Base Mainnet).
- Worker proof fetch failed (temporary / wrong row/col / connectivity).
- Proof mismatch (rare; usually indicates wrong proof data).
- Gas too low / wallet rejected transaction.
Tip: reload, reconnect wallet, retry reveal.
How do I find a free (unminted) coordinate?
Use the “Random free block” button in Mint. It checks random Row/Col and stops when a block is not minted. You can also explore the Pyramid Map and choose a strategic location.
Farming & Resources (FarmingV3 + ERC1155)
Where do my farmed resources live?
Resources are real on-chain balances in ResourceToken (ERC-1155): 0x71E76a6065197acdd1a4d6B736712F80D1Fd3D8b. When you claim, the balances update on-chain.
Why do I see “0 resources” even though I farmed?
Farming only increases “pending” amounts until you claim. If you claimed already, pending goes to 0 and your ERC1155 balances go up.
What resources exist?
Current resource set includes (examples): Oil, Lemons, Iron, Gold, Platinum, Copper, Crystal, Obsidian, Mysterium, Aether. Some resources can be special (e.g. partnership-only / city-upgrade materials).
What is Copper/Obsidian “special resource”?
Some resources are designed to come from special mechanics (e.g. partnerships, special blocks, events), and later act as important Inpinity City upgrade materials.
PiratesV3 Attacks (Start → Wait → Execute)
How do attacks work?
- StartAttack with your attacker block + target block + selected resource.
- Wait for the cooldown.
- ExecuteAttack to attempt the steal.
My execute failed with “Nichts zu stehlen” — why?
That means the target had nothing available to steal at execution time. Typical reasons:
- Target already claimed resources before your execute.
- There was no balance of the selected resource (wrong pick / rarity / no production).
- Old attack against a block that changed state (real gameplay timing).
This is intended and creates strategy: you must time attacks and select the correct resource.
Why does the “Execute” button sometimes stay visible?
Usually because the subgraph still shows the attack as “not executed” (indexing delay) or because the execute transaction reverted (so the state did not change).
Fix strategy (UI): after any execute attempt, refresh attacks and hide the item if it was executed OR if the execute reverted with “nothing to steal” (treat as failed/finished attempt in UI).
Can the UI auto-detect stealable resources before attacking?
Yes (and you already planned it): when selecting a target, the UI can estimate what the target can hold/produce (rarity/row rules) and filter the dropdown to only show likely stealable resources.
Even then, the target can still claim before execute — so “nothing to steal” can remain a real outcome (and that’s good).
Do mercenaries affect attacks?
Yes. Mercenary protection adds a defense layer (risk/reward). Defense + timing becomes the meta.
Partnerships, Inpinity City & UE5 Roadmap
What is a partnership in Inpinity?
Partnerships are not only “logos”. A partner project can become real gameplay: new ERC1155 resources, special drops, catalyst mechanics, partner blocks, and later city crafting materials.
What is Inpinity City?
Inpinity City is the next big layer: a persistent upgrade/crafting system where your resources become building materials. City modules create sinks (good for economy), progression, and strategy.
When UE5?
Roadmap direction: stabilize the web module (Mint/Map/Game), then introduce City systems, then bring ownership + city/resource state into a UE5 prototype, followed by a playable UE5 alpha.
